About Us
Welcome to the Stirling Cricket Club – one of the oldest cricket clubs in South Australia, being formed in 1874.
Our home base is Stirling Oval. In 2024-25 we are fielding teams in all senior & junior grades of the Hills Cricket Association (for more detail go to the 'Our Teams' tab).

The club has called Stirling Oval home for more than a century. The land was originally owned by J & AG Johnston, the hoteliers next door, and bequeathed to the District Council of Stirling in 1936 for the benefit of the community.

Out of respect to the Johnston family and recognition of their contribution, the Club’s most prestigious award – the annual Johnston Medal for best & fairest player – was named after them.
